Dr. Stephen Southall teaching in a classroom at Lynchburg College
Dr. Stephen Southall is one of the few experts who is available for speaking engagements on English boxwood. After almost 40 years of teaching experience as a Psychology Professor at Lynchburg College, Stephen has integrated his comfort and experiences in front of a classroom with his professional knowledge of English boxwood to be able to present a very engaging, interesting, and informative presentation. Always one to be sensitive to the particular needs of an audience, he is not one to be tied to a set of notes and his engaging presentations allow for questions throughout.
Dr. Southall has spoken and carried out hands-on seminars at the Sarah P. Duke Gardens at Duke University, Hampden-Sydney College in Farmville, Berry College in Rome, GA, and numerous garden clubs in and around Virginia. The format can be tailored to your individual needs with topics including all aspects of growing, rooting, transplanting, thinning, and seasonal routines of maintenance and care. Specifically tailored topics can be arranged either in a classroom setting or a seminar/workshop type of experience with hands-on training and involvement.
Why not consider a fundraiser in which your group or organization would host Dr. Southall as a speaker and invite other interested members of the community to join supporting your development needs?
